The short version: we keep the minimum needed to help you gather, and never what's said when you do.
What we keep
- Your mobile number and your texting choices, if you give them to us, including a record of when you opted in or out and the wording you saw.
- Your name, email, optional photo and bio, and whether you're a man or a woman (used only to deliver men's and women's gatherings to the right people — never shown on your profile).
- The churches and circles you belong to, and your friends.
- What you post, who's in, poll answers, RSVPs and the times and places of gatherings.
- Feedback you leave after a gathering — visible only to its organizer, never to church admins.
- Recaps and their photos — a photo only appears once everyone in it says yes.
- Your private journal, which only you can read.
- Basic usage events (like “a post was created”) to see whether the app is helping people gather. No third-party tracking or ads.
What we never keep
- What's said at a gathering. No recordings, no transcripts, no notes beyond a one-line recap someone chooses to write.
- Your location.
Who can see what
Nothing is public. Posts are seen only by the churches, circles, friends or people the author chose, and only by men or women if the post says so. Church admins can see that a gathering happened and how many came — not counsel topics, and never feedback. Guests who come in through a share link see only that one invitation.
Text messages
We text you only if you give us your mobile number and opt in, and only the kinds of texts you chose: reminders and updates about plans you join, and — if you opted in separately — news about new events and BtwnSundays features. Reply STOP to any text to stop them, or change your choices under Me → Texts.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or texting consent with anyone for their marketing or promotional purposes. Texting opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates, except the text-message provider that delivers our texts on our behalf.
Who helps us run it
Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email) and Twilio (text messages). They process data only to provide those services to us.
Your choices
- Turn off any kind of email on the Me tab.
- Stop texts by replying STOP, or change which texts you get under Me → Texts.
- Delete your account from the Me tab at any time. It removes your profile, posts, responses and RSVPs.
